Santander, Mighty Hikes Official Partner
Macmillan is proud to have Santander as our official partner once again for Mighty Hikes 2024. Following on from a vote by thousands of Santander staff across the UK, Macmillan were delighted to become Santander’s national Charity Partner for 2022-2024. In addition to supporting the delivery of Mighty Hikes, the ambition of this partnership is to improve financial inclusion and support for those affected by cancer who may struggle to cope with the financial challenges.
In 2023, 291 Santander colleagues took on a Mighty Hike. Together they've raised an incredible £120,000 to support people affected by cancer. Helen Sam, Santander Compliance Consultant said; “It was a great experience, we were so lucky with the weather, we had blue skies and sunshine! It was incredible to see so many people hiking the marathon, they were inspirational! We are so proud to have raised a good amount for Macmillan! It feels fantastic to be able to support this incredible cause.”

You can expect a hike like no other and we will be there to support you every step of the way. We have hikes in 12 stunning locations across the UK, with the option to choose a full or half marathon challenge. There will be regular pit stops, an amazing buffet lunch, marshals to cheer you along and a medal and a glass of bubbly at the finish line. You will join hundreds of other Mighty Hikers, all walking to support people living with cancer.
