About the Cornwall Mighty Hike
Starting in Padstow, the Cornwall Coast Mighty Hike is a challenging one! But you’ll be rewarded with stunning views as you walk along sweeping beaches and rocky headlands. We are proud that this hike is classified as a Coast Path friendly event.

What is the route?
The full and half marathons will start at Trevethan Farm, Padstow, PL28 8EX.
The half marathon finishes at Rowan Cove, St Merryn, PL28 8PN. The full marathon finishes at Barrowfields, Narrowcliff, Newquay, TR7 2RZ.

Please note that the routes can be subject to change following health and safety inspections. Any key changes will be communicated on the day.

What time does it start and finish?
The hike will set off in waves 20 minutes apart, from 6.50am for the full marathon and 8.50am for the half marathon.
For the full marathon, we estimate that the fastest walkers will finish in around 7.5 hours while the slowest walkers could take around 12.5 hours.For the half marathon, we estimate that the fastest walkers will finish in around 4 hours while the slowest walkers could take around 6 hours.
You will book your start wave when you register. These are given on a first-come, first-served basis.

How do I get there?
Parking for our full and half marathon hikers is at the start line at Trevethan Farm, Padstow, PL28 8EX.
Free shuttle buses will run from both finish lines back to the car park in the afternoon.
You can book parking when you register.

When does registration close?
Registration for the full and half marathon closes at midnight on the Friday 23 August, one week before the hike, or earlier if it sells out.
