Hike 26 miles along the Rob Roy Way, following in the footsteps of Rob Roy MacGregor, a famous figure in Scottish Folklore. The route will take you through the wild Trossachs National Park, giving beautiful views over lochs and the mountainous Scottish Highlands.View hike map

It was a tremendous event and the memories that will stay with us for ever. The event on the day was ran impeccably and the atmosphere and camaraderie brilliant. All the staff and volunteers were amazing and so cheerful and a true credit to the event.

The registration fee is £25 which you pay online upon completing the registration form. The registration fee is non-refundable.
We ask you to pledge to raise £250 to support people living with cancer. Don’t worry we’re here to help, visit our fundraising zone for inspiration.
The deadline to register for the Rob Roy Mighty Hike is midnight on Friday 14 August or when the event sells out.
There is a 10% discount on the registration fee for teams of 5+. The discount code is generated when you complete the registration form which you need to enter in the promotional code box before proceeding to payment.
The Team Captain will receive a unique registration link in their confirmation email which can be forwarded on to any new individual who wants to join the team. Please note that the team start time may not be available if all places have been filled.

Parking is available in a satellite car park located at the Scottish Antique and Art Centre, Carse Of Cambus Cottage, Buchany, Doune, FK16 6HG or Strathalan Games Park 7 Airthrey Ave, Bridge of Allan, Stirling, FK9 4QY. You can book this through the registration form.
You will automatically be booked onto a complimentary shuttle from the car park to the start at McLaren Community Leisure Centre. Shuttle buses from the Doune car park will be running from 5.45am until 8.45am (15-minute drive). Shuttle buses from the Bridge of Allan car park will be running from 5.30am until 8.20am (35-minute drive).
Complimentary shuttles will be running from the finish line back to the start at McLaren Community Leisure Centre, Buchany, Doune FK16 (40min drive approx) then on to the car park at the Scottish Antique and Art Centre (55min drive approx) and then to the car park at Bridge of Allan (65min drive approx) from 4pm until 10pm.
It is a 13-minute taxi ride from Dunblane Station to the satellite car park at Scottish Antique and Art Centre. Complimentary shuttle buses will also run to Crianlarich station from 4pm until 10pm (20-minute drive).
The hike will start in waves 20 minutes apart, between 6.50am and 9.50am.
Registration will be open between 5pm and 8pm on the evening of Friday 28 August and will re-open between 5.50am and 8.50am on Saturday 29 August.
We ask everyone to arrive one hour before their start time and no earlier.
We estimate that the fastest walkers will finish in 7.5 hours while the slowest walkers could take around 12.5 hours. Due to venue restrictions we have to start closing our finish area at 10pm. Therefore, when you choose your start time, please select an earlier wave if you consider yourself a slower walker and a later wave if you consider yourself a faster walker.
