The registration fee is £25, which you pay online upon completing the registration form. The registration fee is non-refundable.
We ask everyone to pledge to raise £250 to support people living with cancer. Click on Your Hike in the navigation bar where we have lots of useful information and resources to help you get started.
The deadline to register for the Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike is midnight on Friday 20 August or when the event sells out.
It is only possible to transfer from the full marathon to the half marathon event. Please know that if you request to transfer to the lower distance the £5 difference in registration fees will not be refunded.
Transferring to the half marathon distance is not possible if the request is made less than 2 weeks before the event as registration will be closed or if the half marathon event is full.
If you wish to change from the half marathon to the full marathon you will need cancel your place and re-register for the full marathon and pay the full registration fee.
There is a 10% discount on the registration fee for teams of 5+. The discount code is generated when you complete the registration form which you need to enter in the promotional code box before proceeding to payment.
The Team Captain will receive a unique registration link in their confirmation email which can be forwarded on to any new individual who wants to join the team. Please note that the team start time may not be available if all places have been filled.
Yes, you will need to raise the minimum fundraising amount of £250 for each member of your team. You can, however, choose to split the total in any way you like between the team if some people are comfortable raising more than others.

Parking is available at the start in Lodmoor Country Park and at the finish at Norden Farm, and you can book this through the registration form.
If you park at the finish at Norden Farm, complimentary shuttles will be running to the start from 5.15am – 8am. It’s a 40-minute drive so leave in plenty of time for your start wave. If you park at the start at Lodmoor Country Park, complimentary shuttles will be running from the finish back to the start until 10pm.
It is a 5-minute taxi ride from Weymouth Station to the start at Lodmoor Country Park. For the full marathon, complimentary coaches will run from the finish at Norden Farm to Wareham Station until 10pm (20 minute drive).
The full marathon will set off in waves 20 minutes apart, between 6.50am and 9.30am.
Registration will be open between 5pm and 8pm on the evening of Friday 3 September and will re-open between 5.50am and 9am on Saturday 4 September.
We ask everyone to arrive one hour before their start time and no earlier.
We estimate that the fastest full marathon walkers will finish in 7.5 hours while the slowest walkers could take around 12.5 hours. Due to venue restrictions we have to start closing our finish area at 10pm.
Therefore, when you choose your start time, please select an earlier wave if you consider yourself a slower walker and a later wave if you consider yourself a faster walker.
