The registration fee is £25. You pay your registration fee online upon completing the registration form. The registration fee is non-refundable.
We ask everyone to pledge to raise £250 to support people living with cancer. Click on Your Hike in the navigation bar where we have lots of useful information and resources to help you get started.
The deadline to register is midnight on Friday 16 July 2021 or when the event sells out.
It is possible to transfer between the full marathon and half marathon distances. Please know that if you request to transfer to the lower distance the £5 difference in registration fees will not be refunded.
Transferring between distances is not possible if the request is made less than 2 weeks before the event as registration will be closed or if the event is sold out.
If you wish to change from the half marathon to the full marathon, we will ask you to pay the £5 difference in registration fees.
There is a 10% discount on the registration fee for teams of 5+. The discount code is generated when you complete the registration form which you need to enter in the promotional code box before proceeding to payment.
The Team Captain will receive a unique registration link in their confirmation email which can be forwarded on to any new individual who wants to join the team. Please note that the team start time may not be available if all places have been filled.
Yes, you will need to raise the minimum fundraising amount of £250 for each member of your team. You can, however, choose to split the total in any way you like between the team if some people are comfortable raising more than others.

Parking is available at the start location at Kentwell Hall and you can book this through the registration form. Complimentary coaches will be running from the finish at Flatford Mill back to Kentwell Hall until 10pm.
It is a 20-minute taxi ride from Sudbury Station to the start at Kentwell House. Complimentary coaches will run from the full marathon finish at Flatford Mill to Manningtree Station until 10pm and you can book this through the registration form.
The full marathon will start in waves 20 minutes apart, between 6.50am and 8.30am.
The Event Village will be open between 5pm and 7pm on the Friday evening before the event, and will re-open between 5.50am and 8.30am on event day.
This will be open for the information desk, shop, kit swap and missing event packs.
We ask everyone to arrive 45 minutes before their start time and no earlier.
For the full marathon we estimate that the fastest walkers will finish in 7.5 hours while the slowest walkers could take around 12.5 hours. Due to venue restrictions we have to start closing our finish area at 10pm.
Therefore, when you choose your start time, please select an earlier wave if you consider yourself a slower walker and a later wave if you consider yourself a faster walker.
This year, your event pack will be posted nearer the event. This will contain your bib number, so you’re all set for your Mighty Hike.
